Guidelines
We want stories that help. Here is exactly what we publish and what we ask you to rephrase.
We publish
- Your first-person account, in your own words.
- Named practices and modalities (PT, yoga, breathwork, strength training).
- Named books, podcasts, or apps that helped you.
- Links to peer-reviewed research you found useful.
We ask you to rephrase
- Absolutist claims— “this cured me” becomes “this helped me”.
- Specific dosages — numbers for supplements or medications. Talk about the treatment, not the mg.
- Attacks on named clinicians— say the care didn’t work for you, not that the person is bad.
- Third-party medical records— your story is yours to share. Other people’s isn’t.
Why
People in pain are vulnerable. One definitive cure claim is all it takes to push someone toward the wrong decision. We’d rather publish a story that helps ten people than one that rushes someone off a treatment that was working.
